This seems quite cliche but I suppose I should have an opening post. I've tried to start other blogs, but failed, so the chances that I'll make it out of the first week are about 80/20. A housewife with a blog also seems quite cliche, but as a stay at home mom, I often lose myself in my own thoughts while trying to drown out a screaming/whining/hyper/annoyed/angry/need I go on? toddler, so I thought, "why not share those thoughts with the world?" Lucky world! I'm sure my husband will appreciate it though, as he is often the recipient of my mommy talk and I think only tunes in every 3rd word.
As for content, I'm planning on including more than the standard "my kid has learned to pick his nose", but I can't guarantee there won't be posts of that nature. After all, I spend 75% of my day with a small child and am often amazed/amused by his behavior. I'll try to keep that to a minimum though and appeal to the masses. (Who am I kidding though? Probably my only reader will be my mom and she would appreciate those types of posts.) I'll probably blog a little about food, a little about gardening, a little about politics and about mommy stuff.
Alright, short and sweet. I already have a blog post in mind, but I think I'll start off with less controversial things since I'd like to have a few readers. Maybe I'll blog about dinner tonight. We're having chicken scaloppine, one of my favorites. Until later, folks.
